CLINICAL SUPERVISOR - DAY TREATMENT @ Hand in Hand Day Treatment Program (Full-time)
Position Summary:
Position oversees all clinical work for the Hand In Hand Day Treatment program and Proctor Care component. This position is responsible for staff training and development, supervision for licensure of Master’s level staff, supervision of lead child development therapists and family therapists, and oversees family and individual therapy, consultations, and community outreach for day treatment and proctor care. Position is also primarily responsible for fostering relationships with Utilization Managers of Tri-County MHO’s. This position may provide clinical consultation to other programs within the department.
Education/Experience Required:
- Graduate Degree in related field is required.
- Licensure as a Psychologist or Social Worker required.
- Minimum of five years of licensed clinical experience, including supervision of staff, program management and work with emotionally disturbed children required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a broad range of people including staff, supervisors and management.
- Ability to exercise tact, objectivity, sensitivity, strategy and judgment in dealing with a variety of people in a variety of situations.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment; assume a leadership role and act as a representative of the agency in the community.

- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.
- Openness to feedback and supervision.
- Ability to regularly attend and be punctual for scheduled work commitments and meetings, and be in a condition suitable for assuming responsibilities of position.
Other Requirements:
- A criminal history background check is required for all employees working directly with children served by Morrison or working at a site providing such services.
- Bloodborne Pathogens training is required on the first day of employment.
- Provides Emergency First-Aid as needed, and maintains a current standard First-Aid/CPR certification.
- Position involves driving which requires a valid driver’s license for the state of residency, personal auto liability insurance ($100,000 required), and a driving record permitting coverage under corporate auto liability policy.
Salary/Benefits:
Salary depending on experience.
